- 1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup Diced bell peppers
- 1 pound Pizza dough
- 1 cup Sausage (cooked and crumbled)
- 1/4 cup Diced onions
- 1/4 cup Mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons Melted butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Turn on your oven and preheat it to 375°F (190°C).
Create a rectangle out of the pizza dough by rolling it out on a lightly floured surface.
Mix the cooked cheddar cheese, sausage, bell peppers, garlic powder, onions, mayonnaise, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
Make sure the mixture is evenly distributed over half of the rolled-out dough, leaving a border around the edges.
With a fork, seal the edges of the other half of the dough over the filling.
Bake the stuffed dough on a baking sheet.
Spread melted butter and garlic powder evenly over the dough surface.
The pocket should be golden brown after about 20-25 minutes in the preheated oven.
Let it cool slightly before slicing.
- Prepare Dough in Advance: Make the pizza dough ahead for better texture.
- Even Filling Distribution: Ensure an even spread of filling for a balanced flavor.
- Seal Edges Well: Use a fork to crimp edges tightly for a secure seal.
- Use Parchment Paper: Line baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
