Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup salted butter
  • cups heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons cajun seasoning 
  • 1 pound fresh pasta 
  • ¾ cup pasta cooking water
  • 2 cups shredded Parmesan cheese

Cajun seasoning

  • ½ tablespoon paprika powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • ¼ teaspoon ground white pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon dried thyme
  • ½ teaspoon fine table salt
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper

Instructions
 

  • A small bowl should hold the spices for cajun seasoning.
  • A medium skillet is a good place to melt butter.
  • Bring the cream to a simmer and pour it in.
  • Cajun seasoning should be added to the mixture and mixed well. Allow simmering for five minutes.
  • Pasta cooking water is added and mixed, simmering for 1 minute before the pasta is added.
  • Mix the shredded Parmesan cheese into the skillet once it is removed from the heat.
  • You may need to adjust the seasoning based on your taste. To serve, sprinkle with paprika powder.
