  • 1/2 cup Fresh Cilantro
  • 1 cup Onion (peeled and chopped)
  • 1/3 cup Fresh lime Juice
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • one 1/2 pounds Coarsely chopped Roma tomatoes

Instructions

  • Chop cilantro, serrano peppers, garlic, and onion into small dice after washing and trimming the stems.
  • Using a food processor or blender, blend cilantro, serrano peppers, garlic, onion, and lime juice together until finely chopped.
  • Once all of the ingredients are blended, add the tomatoes and pulse once more.
  • Adding salt to taste and pulsing one last time will ensure that all ingredients have been thoroughly combined.
  • Chill and serve with your favorite side dish.

Notes

  • For a milder salsa, reduce the amount of serrano peppers.
  • To increase heat, keep the pepper seeds or add an extra serrano to the mix.
  • Experiment to find the perfect spice level that suits your taste.
