- 1 ounce Fresh serrano peppers (chopped)
- 1 teaspoon Garlic
- 1/2 cup Fresh Cilantro
- 1 cup Onion (peeled and chopped)
- 1/3 cup Fresh lime Juice
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- one 1/2 pounds Coarsely chopped Roma tomatoes
Chop cilantro, serrano peppers, garlic, and onion into small dice after washing and trimming the stems.
Using a food processor or blender, blend cilantro, serrano peppers, garlic, onion, and lime juice together until finely chopped.
Once all of the ingredients are blended, add the tomatoes and pulse once more.
Adding salt to taste and pulsing one last time will ensure that all ingredients have been thoroughly combined.
Chill and serve with your favorite side dish.
- For a milder salsa, reduce the amount of serrano peppers.
- To increase heat, keep the pepper seeds or add an extra serrano to the mix.
- Experiment to find the perfect spice level that suits your taste.
