Ingredients

  • 1/2 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 cup Sour cream
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cayenne pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Juice of pickled jalapenos
  • 2 tablespoons Finely chopped pickled jalapenos
  • 1 teaspoon Chipotle sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Stir together the sour cream, mayonnaise, finely chopped pickled jalapenos, and juice from the pickled jalapenos in a medium bowl.
  • Stir the chipotle sauce into the mixture until it is evenly distributed.
  • Stir together the onion powder, garlic powder, cumin, paprika, and cayenne pepper in a small bowl.
  • By stirring continuously, slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients. This helps ensure that the dry ingredients are evenly distributed.
  • Depending on your taste, salt, and black pepper can be added slowly, tasting as you go, until the sauce reaches your desired level of seasoning.
  • Refrigerate the sauce for at least 1-2 hours before using it to allow the flavors to blend.

Notes

  • Prepare the sauce in advance for convenience; it can be made up to a day before serving.
  • Allow the flavors to meld by storing them in the refrigerator overnight, enhancing their overall taste.
  • Perfect for entertaining, as it reduces last-minute preparation stress.
