Ingredients

First layer:

  • 2 cups Pretzels (crushed)
  • 3/4 cup Butter (melted)
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar

Second layer:

  • 1 (8-ounce) Package of cream cheese
  • 1 (8-ounce) Container of Cool Whip
  • 1/2 cup Sugar

Third layer:

  • 1 large Package of black cherry Jello
  • 2 cans Whole cranberry sauce
  • 2 cups Boiling water

Instructions

Note:

  • As other layers are prepared, the third layer can be prepared first and put in the refrigerator for later use. Make sure not to let it sit for too long; it doesn't want to congeal.
  • 350°F is the recommended temperature for the oven.

First layer:

  • The crushed pretzels should be combined with the butter and sugar in a bowl. In a large flat baking dish, press the mixture into the bottom. The baking process should take eight minutes at 350°F. Cool the dish after it has been removed from the oven.

Second layer:

  • Make a cream cheese mixture with Cool Whip, cream cheese, and 1/2 cup sugar. After the crust has cooled, spread the mixture over it.

Third layer:

  • The Jello, cranberry sauce, and boiling water should be mixed in a bowl. Allow to cool and then pour over the second layer. Let it chill for 2 to 4 hours in the refrigerator.
