  • Knife and chopping board
  • Small pan for shrimp sautéing
  • Grater (for cheese)
  • Brush or spoon for garlic butter

Ingredients

For Shrimp Filling

  • 200 g shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley

For Garlic Bread

  • 4 slices thick bread sourdough or sandwich bread
  • 3 tablespoons butter softened
  • 2 cloves garlic minced or grated
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley

For Cheese Layer

  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • ½ cup cheddar cheese optional for extra sharpness

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare Garlic Butter

  • Mix softened butter, minced garlic, and chopped parsley in a bowl until well combined.

Step 2: Cook the Shrimp

  • Heat butter in a pan. Add garlic and sauté for a few seconds. Add shrimp, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for 3–4 minutes until shrimp turns pink. Finish with lemon juice and parsley. Set aside.

Step 3: Prepare Bread

  • Spread garlic butter generously on one side of each bread slice.

Step 4: Assemble Sandwich

  • On the unbuttered side, add cheese, cooked shrimp, and more cheese. Close with another slice of bread (buttered side out).

Step 5: Grill

  • Heat a skillet on medium heat. Place sandwich and cook until golden brown on both sides and cheese melts completely.

Step 6: Serve

  • Slice and serve hot while cheese is stretchy and shrimp is juicy.
  • That’s it—you’ve made a perfect Garlic Bread Shrimp Grilled Cheese Recipe.

Notes

  • Use fresh shrimp for best flavor
  • Don’t overcook shrimp or it becomes rubbery
  • Use low to medium heat for grilling to melt cheese properly
  • Press sandwich slightly while cooking for better crispness
  • Mix mozzarella with cheddar for better flavor depth
