Salty Dog Cocktail Recipe
The Salty Dog Cocktail Recipe is a classic and refreshing mixed drink known for its delightful combination of citrusy grapefruit and a salty rim.
Ingredients
- 4 ounces Gin or vodka
- Salt for the rim
- 8 ounces Grapefruit juice
- Grapefruit wedge and fresh thyme to serve
Instructions
- You can wet the glass rim by running a cut grapefruit (or other citrus) along it, then dipping the wet rim into salt. You should fill the glass with ice.
- Gin or vodka should be poured into the glass, then grapefruit juice should be poured on top. The best herb to use is thyme, which we like to garnish with a grapefruit wedge.
