- 4 lobster tails (6-8 ounces each)
- 1 tablespoon All-purpose barbecue rub
- 3 tablespoon Salted butter
- 1 teaspoon Kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon Black pepper
- 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
The smoker should be preheated to 250 degrees when you are ready to cook.
Pull the meat from your lobster tails by butterflying them.
Rub your all-purpose BBQ rub on the lobster meat with salt and pepper.
Make sure the meat side of the lobster is facing upward when you place it directly on the grates of your smoker.
Lemon juice, garlic powder, and butter should be combined in a small pot or pan.
Put the pot alongside the lobster on the smoker. Once you have melted the butter, you should have a simple butter sauce to bast the meat with.
The butter sauce should be basted every 10-15 minutes on the lobster.
Cook lobsters for 45 minutes. Once they reach 145°F internal temperature, remove them from the smoker. A squeeze of lemon juice and the remaining butter sauce should accompany it.
