Cuisine American
- ½ cup Chopped White Onion
- ⅓ cup Chopped Fresh Cilantro
- 1 14.5 ounces can Mexican Stewed Tomatoes
- 1 10 ounces can Diced Tomatoes and Green Chilies
- 1 Jalapeno Pepper
- Salt To Taste
Using a food processor or blender, combine Mexican Stewed Tomatoes, Ro-Tel Diced Tomatoes, green Chiles, chopped White Onion, and Fresh Cilantro.
The seeds and ribs of the jalapeno pepper can be removed if you want a milder salsa. You can leave them in if you prefer it spicy. Jalapeno Peppers should be chopped and added to the mix.
You can always add more salt later if needed, so start with a pinch and taste.
Putting the lid on your food processor or blender, and pulsing everything for about 20 to 25 seconds will blend everything together to your preferred consistency. For chunkier results, pulseless is best. Make your salsa smoother by pulsing it more.
After the salsa looks good, put it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to allow the flavors to integrate.
Your homemade Taco Bueno Salsa is ready to serve after chilling.
