- 8 slices regular bacon 6 slices thick cut, (chopped)+you’ll need ¼ cup grease)
- ¼ cup Flour
- 1 to 2 cups whole milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
A large skillet should be heated over medium heat while cooking chopped bacon.
The bacon should be placed on a paper towel-lined plate after being removed with a slotted spoon. Place aside.
Stir constantly with a whisk as flour is added to the pan gradually. Remove any lumps by stirring until they are gone. Continue whisking until the gravy has thickened after adding one cup of milk. The consistency can be adjusted by adding additional milk.
With bacon on top, serve over biscuits.
