- 8 garlic cloves fresh large size, peeled and minced
- 2 sticks butter
- 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
- 1 tablespoon Old Bay
- 1 tablespoon Smoked paprika
- 2 teaspoons lemon pepper seasoning
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Cayenne pepper
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice freshly squeezed
- 2 teaspoons hot pepper sauce
- 1/4 cup water
Two sticks of butter should be added to a medium saucepan. Over a medium-low flame, melt butter
The butter should be simmered for 3 minutes with freshly minced garlic added. The butter mixture should be stirred continuously. When the water begins to boil, reduce the heat a little. A light simmer is ideal.
You will now need to add cajun seasoning, Old Bay seasoning, smoked paprika, lemon pepper seasoning, sugar, onion powder, cayenne pepper, lemon juice, hot sauce, and water.
Stir frequently so the sauce doesn't burn or stick to the bottom of the pan while simmering for 15 minutes.
Make a large bowl with 3 - 4 pounds of boiled or steamed seafood. Toss everything well with the sauce before serving.
