Ingredients

  • 1 (14 ounces) can whole berry cranberry sauce
  • 1 (14-ounce) can of jellied cranberry sauce
  • 1/4 cup orange juice (freshly squeezed is best)
  • 3 Tablespoons packed light brown sugar
  • 1/2 - 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  • Stir all the ingredients together in a medium saucepan.
  • Using medium heat, gently boil the mixture. Once it has reached a gentle boil, lower the temperature immediately. Pour the sauce into a saucepan and stir occasionally for 10-12 minutes (or until it has thickened a little).
  • During simmering, gently break apart the large pieces of jelly (I squish them against the pan walls while stirring it).
  • After the sauce has been simmered for 15 minutes, remove it from the heat and allow it to cool.
  • After the cranberry sauce has cooled, transfer it to a serving dish and enjoy!
