Ingredients
  

  • 2 large Chicken breasts (sliced into cubes)
  • 1/2 cup Flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon each of salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 2 tablespoons Minced garlic
  • 1 cup Chicken broth
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon Each of oregano and thyme
  • 1/3 cup Chopped sun dried tomatoes
  • 1 19 ounce Bag of frozen tortellini

Instructions
 

  • A shallow dish can be used to mix the flour, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  • Dredge the chicken breasts in the flour mixture, ensuring they are evenly coated on both sides.
  • Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Cook the chicken for 4–5 minutes per side or until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  • Take the chicken out of the skillet and set it aside.
  • In the same skillet, add minced garlic, sundried tomatoes, and chicken broth. Stir to combine.
  • Reduce the heat to low and add the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Stir until the cheese melts.
  • Mix in the red pepper flakes, oregano, and thyme. Let the sauce simmer for a few minutes.
  • Add 1 bag of frozen tortellini to the skillet. Cover and cook for a few minutes or until the tortellini is tender.
  • Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and heat through.
  • Serve immediately, garnished with extra Parmesan cheese or herbs if desired.
