Ingredients
  

  • 1 ½ cups Uncooked White Rice
  • 2 ⅔ cups Chicken Broth
  • cup Tomato Sauce
  • 5 Minced Cloves Garlic
  • 3 tablespoons Unsalted Butter
  • ¾ teaspoon Ground Cumin
  • teaspoon Ground Black Pepper
  • teaspoon Chili Powder
  • ¼ teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
  • cup Chopped White Onion

Instructions
 

  • Melt the unsalted butter over medium heat in a large pan.
  • Stir the uncooked rice often in the melted butter until it turns light golden.
  • Add the minced garlic, ground cumin, chili powder, black pepper, and cayenne pepper and cook for a few minutes.
  • Make sure the onions are soft by cooking them for a while.
  • Add the tomato sauce and chicken broth and Reduce the heat to low after bringing everything to a boil.
  • Let the rice simmer for 22 to 26 minutes, covered until it is tender.
  • Before serving, fluff the rice with a fork.
