Heat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Medium-high heat should be used to melt the butter.
Onions, bell peppers, and celery should then be added. Let it cook until it becomes translucent.
Garlic and parsley should also be added. Continue to cook for 2 more minutes.
Wait until the mixture cools before peeling the crabs. The crab stuffing should fit in about six crab shells.
Once the skillet is cooled, carefully add the crab meat and toss it to prevent it from breaking up.
Old Bay seasoning, mayonnaise, beaten egg, and fresh lemon juice should all be added to the mixture. Make sure the mixture is evenly mixed by gently tossing it together.
Toss the mixture gently with sliced green onions and parmesan cheese.
Warm water should be used to clean crab shells.
Fill each crab shell high with the crab meat mixture.
After each filled shell is stuffed, sprinkle some more crushed crackers over it, and top it with butter.
Place on a baking sheet and sprinkle with paprika.
During the baking process, the Stuffed Crab Recipe should be left uncovered in the oven for about 30 minutes. Serve immediately after removing from the oven.
