Ingredients

  • 3 Russet potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons  Olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon  Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ground black pepper

Wingstop Fry Seasoning

  • 1/4 teaspoon  Garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon  Onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon  Chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon  Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon  Sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon  Brown sugar

Instructions

Air Fryer

  • Potatoes should be cleaned and scrubbed. The potatoes should be cut into fries by cutting them in a quarter-inch lengthwise and then cutting them into fries. If you dislike the skin, you can peel it.
  • You should place them in ice water in a bowl. When they are cooked, they become crispy since some of the starch has been removed. It is recommended that they are left to soak for 30 minutes to two hours.
  • Once you have removed it from the water, pat it dry.
  • Using olive oil, salt, and pepper, toss the fries in a bowl.
  • The fries should be poured into the air fryer basket. If you want to make sure they are cooked evenly, spread them out into a single layer.
  • While the fries cook, add the seasonings to a bowl. Sprinkle Wingstop seasoning on the French fries and remove them carefully.

Stovetop

  • Cut the potatoes into fries after they have been cleaned. Let the fries soak for 30 minutes in cold water.
  • Pat dry the potatoes after removing them from the water.
  • A Dutch oven or large pot should be filled with 2-3 inches of vegetable oil. 325 degrees Fahrenheit is the temperature at which the oil should be heated. Half of the potatoes should be placed in the pot and cooked for five minutes. As soon as you remove them, place them on a paper towel-lined plate. After 5 minutes, add the remaining potatoes and cook for another 5 minutes.
  • The cooked fries should be placed back into the hot oil and cooked again for 2-3 minutes.
  • After removing it from the paper towel-lined plate, carefully place it on another paper towel-lined plate. The seasoning mix should be tossed with the fries.
